On average, one alloy can take between 1-2 hours. A full set of four alloys will take around 5-6 hours.
The difference between painted and diamond cut is that painted wheels will be all one colour, whereas diamond cut alloys will have a polished, flat face with a painted insert.
A true diamond cut is achieved using a professional diamond cutting lathe, whereas a diamond cut effect is achieved by hand. For diamond cut alloys, we always recommend a true diamond cut where possible.
There is no need to wait to use your vehicle again after the refurbishment. Your vehicle will be ready to drive straight away.
We recommend that you have the vehicle and alloys washed before your booking as we advise not to have the wheels washed for at least 7 days after your refurbishment has been completed. We also recommend that you use soap and warm water only to clean your refurbished alloys.
Your wheels will not need rebalancing as if we do remove your tyre, it is replaced in the exact same position. As long as your wheels are balanced beforehand, they will remain balanced after the refurbishment.
Someone will need to be present on the day in order to confirm that the result is satisfactory and to make payment.
